The University at Buffalo Chapter of the AAUP was formed in 2015.  We aim to develop advocacy within our local campus and the SUNY system in favor of the principles of the national AAUP, the American Association of University Professors.  We are not (and do not seek to be) the collective bargaining agent for the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, nor are we affiliated with or endorsed by the UUP (the faculty and staff union for SUNY). We do hope to work with and alongside of the UUP when we share common goals and principles.
